Seattle Seahawks 6, Chicago Bears 3
Heading into the remainder of Week 17, the Seattle Seahawks’ postseason hopes are still alive.
Geno Smith and the Seahawks fended off the host Chicago Bears on Thursday night at a rainy Soldier Field, maintaining their slim chances at winning the NFC West.
It was an altogether ugly affair with both offenses struggling mightily, but the Seahawks ultimately prevailed thanks in part to the Leonard Williams-led pass rush netting seven sacks.
On the other side of things, the Bears’ trying season continued with their 10th straight loss, tying the franchise’s longest single-season losing streak.
Around the NFL will have more from Grant Gordon shortly.
