SEC baseball RPI rankings for May 8

Two weeks remain in the 2025 college baseball regular season for Southeastern Conference teams. Texas (39-8, 19-5 SEC) has a two-game lead over second place Arkansas (40-9, 17-7 SEC) in league standings with six contests to be played.

One SEC game is slated for Thursday. Auburn (33-15, 13-11 SEC) will host South Carolina (26-23, 5-19 SEC) at 8 p.m. EDT (ESPNU).

Friday-Sunday SEC series this week include: Vanderbilt at Tennessee, Oklahoma at Kentucky, Missouri at Texas A&M, Georgia at Alabama, Arkansas at LSU, Florida at Texas and Ole Miss at Mississippi State.

The Tennessee-Vanderbilt series will begin Friday at 5:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network). Saturday’s game No. 2 between the Vols and Commodores is slated for 5 p.m. EDT (ESPN2), while first pitch for Sunday’s series finale will take place at 3 p.m. EDT (ESPN2).

The Vols rank No. 13 nationally for RPI with two SEC series remaining ahead of the league’s tournament May 20-25.
