Ten of the top 20 players to enter the 2025 college football transfer portal joined SEC schools — more than any other conference. Those who aren’t already household names are poised to enter the college football lexicon this fall while playing on the sport’s biggest stages.
No SEC team had a stronger showing in the transfer portal than LSU. The Tigers boast the top-ranked class in the 247Sports Transfer Team Rankings, with 12 of their 18 commitments earning four-star status. Brian Kelly and company lured an SEC-best three of the conference’s top 10 incoming transfers this offseason.
Four other SEC teams assembled top-10 transfer classes: Ole Miss (No. 4), Missouri (No. 7), Auburn (No. 8) and Kentucky (No. 10). The Rebels and Tigers had multiple players make this list. Oklahoma, Georgia and Texas A&M also had a transfer finish among the SEC’s top 10 newcomers for 2025.
