FAIRFIELD — Sophomore starter Peyten Czekalewski had his best outing of the season Tuesday as the Solano Community College baseball team earned an 8-2 win at Contra Costa for the Falcons’ first Bay Valley Conference win.
Czekalewski threw eight innings and struck out nine batters. He allowed five hits, two unearned runs and three walks. Nick Kaumbulu closed out one inning in relief and struck out two batters.
