Solid Arkansas NFL scouting combine perfomances boost several Razorbacks’ draft stocks

The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine showcased the talents of five Razorbacks players, each leaving a significant impression on scouts and analysts.

While defensive linemen Eric Gregory and running back Ja’Quinden Jackson had solid showings, the remaining three, Andrew Armstrong, Landon Jackson, and Isaac TeSlaa all had standout performances.

Andrew Armstrong

Armstrong will be sorely missed for Arkansas as they head into the upcoming season. The receiver was not only serving as the Razorbacks tried and tested X-receiver throughout the season, but during the combine, he solidified that the physical gifts should be transferrable to the next level.

NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah who had previously described Armstrong as a “versatile receiver who could play both inside and outside” praised Armstrong’s 4.51 40-yard dash as an excellent time for his size and frame.

Armstrong followed up by posting “Who Can’t? Oh ight” Instagram shortly after.

Isaac TeSlaa

TesSlaa got put in the national spotlight in the weeks leading up to the combine having performed well at the Senior Bowl.

The combine itself may have boosted the wide receiver’s draft stock further as he improved his 40-yard time at Arkansas from a reported 4.59 to 4.51. His vertical leap measured 36.4 inches, solidifying his potential role as a bigger body and a reliable red zone target.

Landon Jackson

The defensive end was by far Arkansas’ most touted player heading into the combine.

Jackson did not disappoint. His 40-yard dash ranked No, 8 among 18 defensive ends (4.68) but it was in vertical jump (ranked 1st among all DEs) and broad jump (ranked 2nd among all DEs) where Jackson separated himself from the back.

However impressive these results are, the Arkansas DE generated most of his hype through an incredibly violent bag drill that showcased just how much development he had been through since joining the Hogs.

How will the combine change these Arkansas players’ NFL draft stocks?

While it has been previously said that Arkansas players were among those with the most to gain from strong combine test results, the question remains as to what end these workouts will impact draft rankings.

Jackson has solidified himself as a late-day one or early to mid day-two pick per most mock drafts.

It it clear that those who have gained the most have been Arkansas receiver alumni. Varies mock sites are covering both TeSlaa and Armstrong as those who may have gone from UDFA ranking to a late-round pick.
