Super hoops: How Jacksonville-area players fared in NCAA D-I women’s college basketball

Women’s college basketball is in full swing, with the NCAA Tournament heading toward its finish line in Tampa next week.

Once again, it’s been an active year for Jacksonville-area players in the Division I ranks.

Shining especially bright is Miami senior Jasmyne Roberts, from Bishop Kenny High School, who joined the 1,000-point club for the Hurricanes after winning consecutive All-First Coast player of the year awards with the Crusaders.

Here’s a look at players from the Jacksonville area on NCAA Division I women’s hoops rosters, and how they fared in the 2024-25 season.

Played in 27 games (five starts), with averages of 1.5 points and 1.8 rebounds.

F Clare Coyle

Appeared in six games.
