Tennessee’s walk-on portal entries

QB Ryan Damron: The former star at Henry County High School in Paris, Tenn., redshirted in 2023 and made his Tennessee debut against Kent State in September. Damron left Henry County as the school’s all-time passing leader with the record for passing yards (4,192), completions (296) and touchdown passes (35). The 247Sports three-star prospect had offers from Kentucky, East Tennessee State, Eastern Kentucky and Middle Tennessee State before joining the Vols in 2023.

TE Luke Shouse: After enrolling at Ole Miss in 2020, Shouse joined the Vols as a walk-on in 2023. The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder was a three-star offensive tackle prospect coming out of Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn., when he signed with the Rebels, but did not appear in any games over two seasons in Oxford. Shouse also did not play in any games for the Vols, but completed his degree from Tennessee this fall.

TE Titus Rohrer: The 6-foot-7, 261-pounder from Ohio spent three seasons with Tennessee. A former standout tight end and defensive end at Bryan High School where he caught 33 passes for 454 yards and seven touchdowns as a senior, Rohrer redshirted in 2022 and made his Tennessee debut against Connecticut in 2023. He made two appearances (Kent State and UTEP) this season.

WR Jackson Locke. The 6-foot, 175-pound Ohio native played at Findlay University before joining the Vols in 2023. He made his debut that season in the Homecoming win against Connecticut and appeared in two games (Kent State and UTEP) in 2024. Locke completed his degree in December after going through Senior Day.

TE Charlie Browder. The Kingsport, Tenn., native transferred to Tennessee from UCF after he was a four-game redshirt for the Knights in 2021, and he appeared in six games over three seasons with the Vols. The 6-foot-7, 255-pounder played at Dobyns-Bennett High School as a freshman and sophomore before heading to The Christ School in Arden, N.C., so playing at Tennessee was a homecoming for him. Browder, who completed his degree in December, played in one game (Ball State) in 2022 and one game (UConn) in 2023, when he caught two passes for 10 yards, and played 36 snaps on offense across four appearances (all four non-conference games) as the No. 4 tight end in 2024.
