The updated college baseball polls couldn’t find a consensus on Texas after the Longhorns were swept at Arkansas over the weekend.

The Longhorns remained at No. 1 despite the setback in the D1 Baseball poll, but fell to No. 2 behind Georgia in Baseball America’s updated rankings.

The Longhorns suffered a sweep for the first time since 2023, when Oklahoma got the best of Texas. The three defeats snapped a streak of 13 consecutive conference series victories, too.

Texas returns home this week to play a red-hot Florida team. The Gators swept South Carolina last weekend and have won 10 of their last 12 SEC games after a 1-11 start to conference play.
