Texas is back on top as the No. 1 team after taking two of three at Oklahoma in the final weekend of the regular season. LSU, last week’s top team, didn’t necessarily do anything wrong — though the Tigers did lose a game at South Carolina — so let’s call Texas’ ascension to the No. 1 spot an end-of-season recalibration.

The Longhorns, in strong position to be the No. 1 overall seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament, won the SEC by two games.
Vanderbilt, which won five straight games to close the regular season, cracks the top five for the first time in 2025. Florida State drops from No. 2 to No. 7 after losing two of three at home to North Carolina.
Southern Miss jumps five spots to No. 13 after sweeping Troy on the road.
Three teams dropped out: No. 19 Duke (lost a series at home to Georgia Tech), No. 23 Louisville (lost a series at home to Wake Forest and a midweek game to Bellarmine) and No. 24 West Virginia (got swept at home by Kansas).
They were replaced by Georgia Tech (No. 21), Northeastern (No. 22) and UTSA (No. 25).
