The 2024 NFL regular season has come to a close, and it was another solid campaign for the league’s BYU products.
Fred Warner continued his Hall of Fame-caliber career. Puka Nacua’s star grew even brighter. Kyle Van Noy, in his 11th year as a pro, had his highest sack total since 2012 in Provo.
As nine former Cougars head to the playoffs this weekend, here’s a look at how each of the program’s NFL representatives have fared this season.

Fred Warner, San Francisco 49ers linebacker
Though his 49ers slumped following last year’s Super Bowl letdown, Warner maintained his standing as one of the league’s elite defensive talents.
The four-time Pro Bowl selection tallied 131 total tackles, four forced fumbles, two interceptions, a sack and a touchdown in 17 games, doing so while playing the majority of the season with a fractured bone in his ankle.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams wide receiver
Following a record-breaking rookie showing, there would be no sophomore slump for Nacua in 2024.
Even after missing most of September and October due to a knee injury, Nacua caught a team-high 79 passes for 990 yards and three touchdowns, adding another rushing score on the ground.
Upon finally returning from injured reserve in Week 8, Nacua led the Rams to win eight of their next 10 contests and clinch the NFC West crown.
Kyle Van Noy, Baltimore Ravens linebacker
After 11 seasons in the NFL, Kyle Van Noy is playing some of the best football of his life.
Van Noy notched 12.5 sacks — a new personal best — to lead all Ravens defenders in the 2024 regular season, playing a key role in helping Baltimore win its second consecutive AFC North division title.
Van Noy’s 55 career sacks now rank as the most for any former BYU player in NFL history.
Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints tight end/utility player
Taysom Hill is still doing Taysom Hill things.
The do-it-all fan favorite logged 39 carries for 278 yards — good for an outstanding 7.1 yards per carry — with six touchdowns, adding another 187 receiving yards on 23 catches.
With 44 career rushing and receiving touchdowns, Hill now has the most touchdowns scored of any BYU player in NFL history.
Hill’s season, however, came to an unfortunate, premature end after he suffered a torn ACL on Dec. 1.
Tyler Allgeier, Atlanta Falcons running back
There may not be a more underrated running back in the NFL than Tyler Allgeier.
The thunder to Bijan Robinson’s lightning in Atlanta, Allgeier ran 137 times in 2024 for 644 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 4.7 yards per carry and never fumbling.
Allgeier’s 86.4 overall PFF grade ranked eighth among all NFL running backs with at least 50 carries.
Ryan Rehkow, Cincinnati Bengals punter
It didn’t take long for Rehkow to leave his mark on the NFL.
In just his first career game, Rehkow booted an 80-yard punt — the longest punt in Bengals franchise history and second-longest of the NFL season.
Rehkow ultimately punted 53 times for 2,603 yards in 2024, finishing 11th in the league with a 49.1 yard average and dropping 25 of his punts inside the 20-yard line.

Suamataia finished the season with a 39.4 overall PFF grade and a 30.5 pass blocking mark.
