TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – It was always Thomasville’s Jasper Davis’ intention to play baseball in college close to home, and the fact that he isn’t leaving the Rose City is the cherry on top.
Davis signed with Thomas University Thursday. He said playing college ball was something he’s always wanted to do, and he said becoming a Night Hawk was an easy decision, and now he can focus on his final season as a Bulldog at Thomasville High.
“I knew right away back when I committed that’s where I wanted to go and I was ready to go ahead and put the pen to paper so I could get that out of the way and focus on baseball,” he said. “We have a lot left to prove. We have a ring to chase and we have another Region championship to win.”
