So, the American League pennant-winning Yankees guys, huh?
Yeah… yeah. The Yankees are now in a 0-3 hole, staring down the possibility of a sweep after another terrible loss last night. We have now literally reached win-or-go-home so… tune in tonight. Or read a book. Or see a movie. Follow your heart.
It’s a pretty straightforward day on the site today. Dave will get creative for his Yankees Player of the Game for World Series Game 3, and Peter will delve deeper in his reflections on the affair for some extra points that he didn’t get into as much in the recap. Later, Sam will preview the Game 4 matchup, which will see rookie Luis Gil take on the Dodgers’ version of Johnny Wholestaff (a bullpen game). I’ll have the lineups post and then it will be time to see if the Yankees are up for baseball tomorrow night or not.
World Series Schedule:
Game 4
New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers
(RHP Luis Gil vs. Bullpen Game)
(LAD leads, 3-0)
Time: 8:08 p.m. ET
TV: Fox
Venue: Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY
Questions/Prompts:
1. So, any scant hope for a win tonight? Or perhaps even daring to hope for at least a return to LA?
2. Other than Judge, who’s your pick to get going tonight if the Yankees can pull out a W?
