Today on Pinstripe Alley

Another day, another rousing night of New York sports. The Yankees held up their end of the bargain, taking the first game in Seattle in impressive fashion as they continued what’s been a successful West Coast stint thus far. Unfortunately, the win was marred by a scary scene in the ninth, as Oswaldo Cabrera had to be taken off the field in an ambulance after suffering a serious injury to his left ankle. Our best wishes are with Cabrera, who has seemingly been nothing but a consummate professional as a young player on these last few Yankees teams.

We’ll have lots of prospect coverage on the site today, as Nolan delivers his Week 5 recap from down on the farm, while Scott reports again directly from Triple-A. We’ll also see the latest entry in the 2000 Yankees diary from Jeff, while Sam will recap a light day of action from Monday in the AL.

1. How are confident are you in the Yankees’ non-Fried starting trio (Schmidt, Rodón, Warren) after some strong recent performances from them?
