Today on Pinstripe Alley

Happy November, as it were. We were so close to having more baseball tonight. Then the fifth inning of Game 5 happened. Long may it live in Yankees infamy; otherwise Carlos Rodón would be facing Yoshinobu Yamamoto tonight in LA with the possibility of a Game 7. Would the Yankees still have been long shots to win? Probably, but feel free to expound in today’s prompts.

Today on the site, Nick P. will vent his frustrations about the World Series in part because so many things surprisingly went right for the Yankees to that point — even in the World Series (hear him out, he’s good). Later, Josh will talk about his experience covering his first World Series from many varying places, and Madison will answer your mailbag questions.

Questions/Prompts:

1. If the Yankees had held on in Game 5 and forced a Game 6, how confident would you have been in them winning it and sending the series to a seventh game?

2. Has the Yankees’ loss set in with you yet or are you still feeling numb?
