Nearly a quarter of the FloBaseball Top 100 MLB Draft prospects will travel to Arlington, Texas to help start the 2025 college baseball season as the Shriner Children’s Baseball Showdown and the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series Weekend 1 and Weekend 2 begins on Feb. 14.
The three weeks, collectively known as the College Baseball Showdown, is in its fifth year and showcases the best players, teams and conferences in Division I baseball every February.
It’s no different this year as 23 players on the FloBaseball Composite player rankings will play in showcase. That includes No. 9 prospect Cam Cannarella of Clemson Baseball who will play No. 22-ranked prospect Nolan Schubart in the first game of the Shriners Children’s Baseball Showdown at noon ET on Feb. 14.

Where Is The 2025 College Baseball Showdown?
The Shriners Children’s College Showdown and two-weekend Amegy Bank College Baseball Series presented by Kubota will take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, and feature some of the top teams in the nation.
The 2025 season will mark the fifth consecutive year of college baseball at Globe Life Field – home of the world champion Texas Rangers – and the second straight year the action will span three weekends.
When Is The College Baseball Showdown?
The first weekend of the festivities, the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, will begin on Friday, Feb. 14 and will run through Feb. 16.
The following two weeks of action, the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series, will take place Feb. 21-23 and Feb. 28-March 2.
To keep the momentum going between the weekends, the series also will include four midweek games at Globe Life Field. Those contests will take place Feb. 18, Feb. 19, Feb. 26 and March 5.
