Trinity (CT) wins 2025 NCAA DIII men’s basketball championship

The Trinity (CT) Bantams took down NYU, winning 64-60, to win the 2025 DIII men’s basketball championship on Saturday, March 22. It was the program’s first-ever national title. The Bantams went on a 14-5 run with less than four minutes left to win the program’s first national title.  

Here is everything you need to know for the 2025 DIII men’s basketball championship. It was a 64-team, single-elimination tournament consisting of 43 automatic qualifiers and 21 at-large bids.

The championship kicked off with the selection show on Monday, March 3 at 12:30 p.m. ET on NCAA.comThe first round began on March 7.
