3. Texas, Tues., March 25

Who to watch: Most players would be content standing on a 40-yard dash time of 4.39 seconds at the Combine but not Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond. He told reporters at the Combine he planned to break the Combine record of 4.21 seconds but didn’t come close to that. He reportedly plans to run it again at Texas’ pro day. Can he get into the low 4.3 range or potentially 4.2 range this time around?

2. Ohio State, Wed., March 26

Who to watch: Wide receiver Emeka Egbuka decided to wait until Ohio State’s pro day to run his 40-yard dash and test for teams. He led the Buckeyes with 81 receptions last season and also chipped in 1,011 yards and 10 touchdowns. He has the school record for receptions with 205. Now teams want to see if he has the speed to match the production.

1. Penn State, Fri., March 28

Who to watch: A stress fracture showed up on X-rays in edge rusher Abdul Carter’s foot at the Combine and Carter did not test or take part in drills, but he is expected to run and test at Penn State’s pro day. He told SiriusXM radio at the Combine he planned to ‘blow the roof off’ his pro day workout with the goal of running in the 4.3 range in his 40-yard dash at nearly 250 pounds. If he does that, he could cement his status as the draft’s top player and make it hard for the Titans not to draft him No. 1 overall.
