Tyler High senior signs letter of intent

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – Tyler High School senior Adrian Alvarado signed his letter of intent to play baseball at the collegiate level today in the Dr. Martin L. Edwards Theatre in front of his family, coaches and teammates.

The infielder signed with Ottawa University in Arizona.

Alvarado has had a good summer of baseball, batting .492 with 20 stolen bases and a .991 fielding percentage.

Tyler High Head Coach Seth Gibson is proud of Alvarado’s accomplishments and knows he will achieve great things at the next level.

“Adrian has been a true leader on our team,” Gibson said. “His hard work and loyalty to the Tyler High baseball program have been instrumental in our rebuild.”
