Dan Hurley and UConn continue to bolster their non-conference schedule for next season and beyond.
The Huskies will face Kansas on Dec. 2 at historic Allen Fieldhouse with a return game in Connecticut during the 2026-27 season, NJ Advance Media has learned after it was first reported by Jon Rothstein.
“We are in conversations with Kansas to do a two-year, potentially, or a four-year, home and home type of thing,” Hurley said in December on a conference call in response to a question from NJ Advance Media.
UConn is No. 5 and Kansas is No. 18 in the latest CBS Sports preseason poll.
Two years ago, Kansas defeated UConn, 69-65, in an epic Big East/Big 12 matchup at Allen Fieldhouse.
Instead of a Kansas-UConn game this past season, UConn hosted Baylor and beat them, 75-72, the same night that No. 1 Kansas lost at Creighton, 76-63
The Huskies are now set for these non-conference games in 2025-26:
Oct. 13 – Boston College (Exhibition/ Mohegan Sun)
Nov. 15 – BYU (at TD Garden)
Nov. 19 – Arizona (in Connecticut)
Nov. 28 – Illinois (MSG)
Dec. 2 – Kansas (Allen Fieldhouse)
Dec. 9 – Florida (Jimmy V Classic at MSG)
Dec. 12 – Texas (in Connecticut)
