Updating Iowa State rankings in men’s college basketball polls as Big 12 play begins

Iowa State men’s basketball officially concluded non-conference play last week with a rout of Morgan State to improve to 10-1 overall.

The Cyclones will begin their Big 12 slate this week. They will head on the road to play Colorado on Monday night, before returning home to take on Baylor in a marquee matchup Saturday.

The Cyclones checked in at No. 3 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll. Last week, they were also No. 3.

In the AP Poll, Iowa State is ranked No. 3. It was also previously ranked third in the AP Poll.
