Updating Ole Miss baseball in college baseball polls following Florida series

OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball‘s offense has been on a great stretch. It is translating to wins and a boost in the polls.

The Rebels (21-6, 6-3 SEC) won two out of three games against Florida (19-10, 1-8) in a three-game series in Oxford. Ole Miss did it by racking up runs. The Rebels won 7-5 and 10-9. The loss was an 11-8 defeat on Friday.

Ole Miss is No. 10 in the USA TODAY coaches poll. It is the highest ranking of the season. The Rebels were No. 15 in the poll last week. There are seven SEC teams ranked above Ole Miss.

The Rebels have won six of their past seven games. Ole Miss is averaging 10.3 runs on the stretch.
