Tennessee won its first 20 games of the season to string together a 22-game winning streak dating back to last season’s College World Series. The Vols won the final two games in Omaha to clinch the program’s first national title.
UT lost to ETSU then dropped the series opener at Alabama before winning back-to-back games to win its 11th straight SEC series.
