USA vs. Canada hockey score: Live updates, highlights, start time for 4 Nations Face-Off final in Boston

The highly anticipated rematch between Team USA and Canada is here. Following an explosive first meeting, which the Americans won 3-1, the two bitter rivals will battle again with the 4 Nations Face-Off championship on the line on Thursday.

This rivalry took nine years off, but it took no time to reignite. In Saturday night’s clash, there were three fights after the Canadian fans inside the Bell Centre booed the national anthem. That resulted in one of the most intense hockey games in recent memory with the NHL’s biggest stars laying it all on the line for their country.

That intensity level will be just as high when Team USA and Canada face off in Boston. The Americans will try to assert their place atop the international hockey hierarchy, and Canada wants to get revenge and knock the U.S. down a peg after Saturday’s defeat. Plus, this will be the last chance we get to see this matchup until the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy.

Both teams are dealing with significant losses due to injury. Team USA will definitely be without defenseman Charlie McAvoy. Canada is missing an entire defensive pair with Vegas Golden Knights teammates Shea Theodore and Alex Pietrangelo out due to injury and illness, respectively.

CBS Sports will have you covered with live updates throughout Thursday’s contest.
