COLUMBUS, Ohio — A fortune-telling machine tried warning Tennessee fans about what would happen vs. Ohio State in the College Football Playoff.
Well, that’s how popular sketch comedy series “SEC Shorts” depicted Vols fans getting treated in its latest video centered around the Buckeyes’ beatdown of their visitors.
The 3.5-minute video shows a group of Tennessee fans getting ready to leave their Airbnb in Columbus for the first-round matchup Saturday.
As they’re about to head toward Ohio Stadium, they turn on a fortune-telling machine inside the home.
“Baltar” the fortune teller tells them “Rocky Top” will blare through the stadium speakers. He also predicts chants of “S-E-C” will break out.
After some initial excitement, the fans are informed all those events will transpire as a mockery of Tennessee’s poor play vs. Ohio State.
The fans are left wondering how “Neyland North” could turn into the site of an unfortunate ending to a promising season.
