CHAPEL HILL — UNC baseball and Arizona play Game 2 of the 2025 NCAA Tournament’s Chapel Hill Super Regional on Saturday, June 7, with first pitch set for Noon ET (ESPN2) at Boshamer Stadium.
The top-ranked Tar Heels (46-13) are the No. 5 national seed and No. 1 in the USA TODAY Sports coaches poll. UNC rolled Arizona (42-19) in Game 1, earning an 18-2 victory behind a record-breaking offensive performance and record-matching effort from pitcher Jake Knapp.
The Tar Heels are trying to advance to the College World Series in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 2008-09. The Wildcats, who have four national championships, have won each of their last three appearances in a super regional. If UNC wins Game 2, it’ll be going to Omaha. If Arizona bounces back with a victory, Game 3 will be played Sunday, June 8, at a time yet to be determined.
