LSU will take on No. 3 Arkansas next in the 2025 College World Series semifinals. The Tigers are 2-0 in the CWS and need one more victory to advance to the best-of-three-game championship series.
The Tigers opened the double-elimination tournament with a 4-3 win over Arkansas on June 14. They followed that up with a 9-5 win over UCLA in a game that began on June 16 and finished on June 17 due to inclement weather in Omaha.
Should LSU pick up a win on June 18, it will advance to the championship series for the second time in three years. The Tigers won the 2023 national championship over Florida. Should LSU lose on June 18, a winner-take-all game will be played on June 19.
