Several key games will be revealed before the full NFL schedule is announced this week.
WASHINGTON — The National Football League will this week reveal the dates, times and matchups for all 272 regular-season football games for the upcoming 2025-2026 season.
Some select games will be officially announced ahead of the full schedule being released on Wednesday evening.
The season will kick off with the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles hosting the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday, Sept. 4.
When will the NFL schedule be released?
The 2025 NFL Schedule will be released on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. ET (7 p.m. Central, 6 p.m. Mountain, 5 p.m. Pacific). There will be a special schedule release show on NFL Network.
Some games to be announced early by NFL’s broadcast partners
As has been the case in the past, the NFL’s broadcast partners will help ramp up excitement ahead of the full schedule release by announcing several matchups before Wednesday night.

NFL international games schedule release
There will be seven international games in five different countries during the 2025 season. While the host teams have been announced, their opponents will be revealed when the international game schedule is announced on Tuesday, May 13 on NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football.”

When do NFL tickets go on sale?
Single game tickets will go on sale for games as they are revealed, according to the league. Tickets for the full 2025 NFL season go on sale right after the schedule is officially released on Wednesday, May 14 at 8 p.m. Eastern, according to Ticketmaster.
