Alabama head football coach Kalen DeBoer is amongst the highest paid college football coaches in the country ahead of the 2025 season.
This comes approximately 14 months after Alabama lured DeBoer away from Washington with an eight-year contract and an annual salary of $10 million following the retirement of longtime head coach Nick Saban. In his second season as head coach, Alabama is set to pay DeBoer $10.25 million with potential additional incentives up to $1.175 million per year if he leads the Crimson Tide to an SEC title, the College Football Playoff national championship, earns SEC coach of the year, or if the Tide’s team graduation rate ranks fourth or better amongst all SEC programs. This payday is set to make DeBoer the sixth highest-paid head coach in all of college football entering the 2025 season.
This is how DeBoer stacks up against the other top paid coaches in college football via John Talty of CBS Sports.
