
OXFORD — Ole Miss baseball finished the 2025 season with a ranking.
The Rebels (43-21) are No. 18 in the final USA TODAY coaches poll released June 23. The LSU Tigers are No. 1 after winning the College World Series on June 22.
LSU (53-15) swept Coastal Carolina (56-13) to win the national championship. LSU is one of eight SEC teams that finished the season ranked. Ole Miss is the lowest of the ranked SEC teams.
Ole Miss’ season ended on June 2 in a loss against Murray State in the Oxford Regional. It was Ole Miss’ first NCAA tournament appearance since 2022.
Murray State wound up beating Duke in a super regional matchup to advance to the CWS. The Racers finished No. 11 in the poll.
Coach Mike Bianco will need to reload the roster heading into 2026. He has added five players in the transfer portal class including Grand Canyon pitcher Grant Richardson and San Diego State pitcher Marko Sipila.
