Alabama football bolstered its receiver room with experience and length adding Isaiah Horton from the transfer portal this offseason.
The Miami receiver, listed at 6-4, 209 pounds, played 29 games and started six games over three seasons. When the season ended, the Nashville native decided to look at other options.
He landed at Alabama, and joins forces with Ryan Williams and Germie Bernard, among others.
Horton joined Crimson Tide Sports Network’s Roger Hoover for “Crimson Drive” to discuss why Horton decided to transfer to the Crimson Tide.
“It’s Alabama,” Horton said. “It’s the standard of college football. All the history Alabama has, I’ve always wanted to be a part of something like this. Ever since I got here, it’s a dream come true. From the training to the nutrition, equipment, everything. Everybody is respectful with it … Everything is exactly what I thought it would be.”
Horton and the Crimson Tide are in the back half of spring practices. Alabama will hold its second scrimmage of the spring Friday with A-Day the following Saturday, April 12.
