Wisconsin class of 2026 quarterback target Brodie McWhorter included the Badgers in his list of finalists on Friday.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound signal-caller becomes the latest highly touted 2026 target to feature Wisconsin in his list of finalists over the past two days, following three-star offensive lineman Jalayne Miller and three-star tight end Landen Miree.
McWhorter included the Badgers alongside Indiana, Syracuse, West Virginia, Colorado, Auburn and Mississippi State. He received his offer from UW on May 8.
247Sports composite ranking lists the McWhorter as the No. 360 overall recruit in the class of 2026, the No. 24 quarterback and the No. 44 prospect from Georgia. Rivals, On3 and 247Sports all consider McWhorter a four-star prospect at this stage of the recruiting process.
McWhorter will officially visit the Badgers on April 25. He also plans to venture to West Virginia, Indiana and Mississippi State this spring or summer, per Rivals.
Unlike Miller or Miree, a clear front-runner has emerged for McWhorter — West Virginia. As of Feb. 21, On3’s recruiting prediction machine considers the Mountaineers a heavy favorite, with an 83.6% chance to land his commitment. On3 lists Wisconsin far from his top tier of contenders.
Wisconsin’s class of 2026 still includes just one commitment at this early stage in the recruiting process: three-star offensive lineman Benjamin Novak. McWhorter would fill a void created when three-star quarterback Jarin Mock decommitted from the Badgers’ class.
