Women’s College Basketball: Bowstring, Raiders bounce Norse

VIRGINIA — Constance Bowstring posted 21 points and the Central Lakes College Raiders exploded for 26 fourth-quarter points leading to a 57-28 North Division victory over the Mesabi Range Norse Saturday, Feb. 1.

Chesney Phillip finished with 12 points, 14 rebounds and five blocked shots. Reese Hartl added 12 points, eight rebounds and six assists. All 57 Raiders points came from the starters.

CLC’s defense held Mesabi to 18.8% shooting from the field, which included 0-13 from 3-point.
