The 2025 South Atlantic Women’s Basketball Tournament begins at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, March 4 as the No. 1 seed Coker Cobras look to clinch the automatic bid after a breakthrough season.
The Cobras finished the regular season 24-4 overall and 20-4 in conference. They could be in-line for an at-large bid if they are upset, but for a team that never finished above 7th in the SAC standings before this year, the program looks to make sure they’ll be dancing this season.
Carson-Newman finished second in the league at 18-6 and will play Lincoln Memorial in the night cap on Day 1.
All week long teams from the SAC will play for the championship at the Rock Hill Sports & Event Center in Rock Hill, S.C.with the men’s women’s title games on Friday March 7.
