The Dodgers lost their first game of the World Series on Tuesday in a blowout loss to the Yankees, but they will get another chance at their fourth win in Game 5 on Wednesday night at Yankee Stadium.
A Dodgers win ends the season, and secures the club’s eight championship. A loss sends them back to Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles to try again.
Game 5 is a rematch of Game 1, with Jack Flaherty on the mound against Gerrit Cole. This one cannot end on a walk-off grand slam by Freddie Freeman, because the Dodgers are not the home team. But Freeman does enter Wednesday having homered in each of the four games in this series. His 10 RBI are the most by any Dodger in a single World Series.
