The Yankees’ updated 40-man roster sure looks watered down from last week when they were still playing the Dodgers in the World Series.
Off the roster are four regulars and three relievers from their postseason roster – right fielder Juan Soto, left fielder Alex Verdugo, first baseman Anthony Volpe and second baseman Gleyber Torres, and bullpen arms Tim Hill, Clay Holmes and Tommy Kahnle.
