The 2025 Reese’s Senior Bowl was one of the last opportunities for NFL Draft prospects to make a case for NFL teams.
TCU wide receiver Jack Bech saw this opportunity and fully grasped it.

What a moment for Jack Bech at the @seniorbowl ❤️ pic.twitter.com/Sq3uiI3HaA
Bech scored the game-winning touchdown for the American squad in their 22-19 victory over National. He wore No. 7 in the game to honor his brother, Tiger, who passed away in a terror attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Day. He finished with multiple touchdowns and was named the game’s MVP.
Fans took to social media to praise Bech’s performance and urged NFL teams to select him in April’s Draft.

We’re going to hear a lot of Puka Nacua comps for Jack Bech during the process. And its easy to see why. Athletic and super competitive ball-winner. https://t.co/c6dpBvVKjz

Jack Bech with a walk off TD catch to win the Senior Bowl. What a moment for him and his family after all they’ve been through in the past month.
Cat @chriscatenacci
Jack Bech has so much Puka to his game it’s almost scary.
Zach Nuñez @ZachNunezTV
Jack Bech just scored the game winning TD in the senior bowl. Incredible
Nyke Reagan @nykebawalker
Jack Bech with the game winning TD in Mobile. . . a city less than 150 miles from New Orleans, where his brother, Tiger, was senselessly murdered by a terrorist. . . You could not have scripted a better moment for him today.

Love the moment for Jack Bech. #SeniorBowl

What a great Senior Bowl moment for Jack Bech.
The day consisted of many players trying to show exactly what they are capable of at the next level, with several quarterbacks being among the most intriguing.
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe entered the game with an opportunity to show his natural talent and dual-threat ability. Unfortunately for Milroe, his output was not where he wanted it to be.
The 22-year-old went 1-of-3 for eight yards and also took multiple sacks on the day. Following the effort, fans took to social media to criticize the missed opportunity to impress on a big stage.
Jermaine Houston @jc_houston39
Jalen Milroe’s pocket presence DEFINITELY needs to IMPROVE from the blind 🧑🏿🦯side.

If you’re betting on Jalen Milroe as an NFL starter, you need a one-read system with a heavy emphasis on QB run. He will get sacked 60+ times and struggle to complete 60%+ of his passes in any other approach.
The legs are 1st round. The passing is 6th/7th.
Emory Hunt @FBallGameplan
Better comp for Jalen Milroe is Malik Willis.
Will be interesting to see if he can make a similar progression that Willis has made in the pros.

David Walker clobbers Jalen Milroe, who has looked ROUGH so far.

Alabama QB Jalen Milroe’s day is done at the Senior Bowl.
Finishes the day going 1-3 for 8 yards. Also finishes with -4 yards rushing due to a couple of sacks.

It’s been a rough week for Jalen Milroe 😬

Another quarterback who could be intriguing for team’s in April is Ole Miss’ Jaxson Dart. He had a more impressive day than Milroe, with several strong throws and he also scored a rushing touchdown.

Despite the strong plays, Dart also had a few off target throws. Following the performance, fans took to social media to debate Dart’s candidacy in the Draft.
Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report
Few guys helped themselves in Mobile more than Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart, who not only may have elevated himself into a 1st-rounder, but potentially into the top 10. The three things I keep hearing teams complement him on:
– Easy deep ball
– Touch/layering
– Fluid movement… https://t.co/GELw8S3aKC pic.twitter.com/vaFQ2ZtSxf
Clint Goss @NFLDraftDome
Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart looked better than Alabama QB Jalen Milroe this week at the Senior Bowl. That’s not a hot take either.
Elite backup IMO. Only Dillon Gabriel & Tyler Shough could compete for prettiest ball with Dart. pic.twitter.com/8NXQOpRGYJ
New York Sports Addict @NYSportsAddict1
Something that I noticed with Jaxson Dart is that he doesn’t engage his lower half in throws. He has so much potential arm strength if you can clean up his mechanics.
Uncle Phantom👻 @UncIePhantom
Jaxson Dart’s senior bowl playing time was short but solid
-Didn’t get to throw as much but threw a few good balls
-Can take off and run. He ran in a TD and threw a good pass for the 2 point
-His LT kept getting beat & gave him little time to throw & penalties killed momentum.

Jaxson Dart is a late Day 2/early Day 3 QB and there’s nothing wrong with that.

Praying that Jaxson Dart goes to the Rams, Raiders, or Seahawks. Dude has too much talent to get abused in a system like NY or TN pic.twitter.com/VAg5MRnHK1
Sam Phalen @Sam_Phalen
I’m just gonna go ahead and get this out there… I simply do not get Jaxson Dart love.
This is classic pre-draft hype of a mediocre prospect because the QB class is thin. Not a 1st round talent.
SCOUTD @scoutdnfl
Jaxson Dart was my QB3 going into the Senior Bowl & still is
But it’s shocking to see how people are talking about his performance. He did absolutely nothing to separate himself or boost his stock. He was okay. Some nice throws + some misses
People will do anything to boost QBs
Todd McShay @McShay13
One nuance I’ve seen from Jaxson Dart on tape this yr (and here to Jack Bech) is recognition of defenders with their back turned to the ball (typically man cvg). He’s become extremely comfortable placing throws like this, putting his target in great shape to make play on ball. pic.twitter.com/8c2RpzejTI
There are still several opportunities for these prospective professionals to make their case, with pre-draft interviews, pro days and the 2025 NFL Combine all still yet to come.
However, Saturday’s game was the last true game action these players were able to get with their college helmets on and they will now hope they switch those out for a new one next season.
