Acrisure Series: Schedule, ticket info and more for 21-team college basketball event

The Acrisure Series, a four-day, 21-team Thanksgiving college basketball feast in Palm Desert, California, is almost here.

Here is everything you need to know to enjoy all the action at Acrisure Arena, from the schedule and format to tickets and TV.

What is the Acrisure Series?

What: It is 21 teams, including seven women’s teams and 14 men’s teams, playing 19 total games from Nov. 26-29 (Tuesday through Friday of Thanksgiving week).

When: There are five games on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday with the first starting at 11 a.m. and the last at 9 p.m. And four games on Thanksgiving Thursday with the first at 1 p.m.

Where: Acrisure Arena, is a two-year-old facility in Palm Desert, California, part of the greater Palm Springs area that seats around 11,000 for basketball games.

What teams will I get to see?

Women’s teams: There are seven women’s teams in action, highlighted by USC and star JuJu Watkins. Also in action will be Michigan State, California, Arizona, Vanderbilt, Seton Hall and Saint Louis.

JuJu Watkins and the USC women's basketball will be one of the biggest draws during the 19-game Acrisure Series as 21 men's and women's basketball teams invade the desert during Thanksgiving week.

Men’s teams: There are 14 men’s teams in action, highlighted by Saint Mary’s, USC, Arizona State and New Mexico. Also in action will be Washington, Washington State, Stanford, TCU, Colorado State, Santa Clara, Grand Canyon, Fresno State, SMU and Cal Baptist.

What is the format?

There will be four, four-team mini-tournaments and three “one-off” showcase games.

THE SHOWCASE GAMES

  • 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26: NCAA Tournament darlings Grand Canyon faces Stanford.
  • 4 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 27: Superstar JuJu Watkins and the USC women take on Seton Hall.
  • 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 29: The USC women take on Saint Louis.

  • The women’s Acrisure Classic: Michigan State vs. California and Vanderbilt vs. Arizona on Tuesday, Nov. 26; championship and third-place game Wednesday, Nov. 27
  • The men’s Acrisure Holiday Invitational: SMU vs. Cal Baptist and Fresno State vs. Washington State on Tuesday, Nov. 26; championship and third-place game Wednesday, Nov. 27
  • The men’s Acrisure Invitational: TCU vs. Santa Clara and Washington vs. Colorado State on Thursday, Nov. 28; championship and third-place game on Friday, Nov. 29

Tickets, parking and TV

Tickets: What’s unique about this event is that one ticket allows you entry to all five games on that day, and you will be allowed to leave and come back as you see fit. Tickets are available at acrisurearena.com and start at $75 for the day, which breaks down to $15 each game.

Parking: Parking starts at $31 for the event and attendees will have in and out privileges throughout the day.

Television: TNT Sports has signed on to be the television partner, and all 19 games — men’s and women’s — will air live on TruTV.
