The wait is almost over for Arkansas basketball fans as the 2024-25 season is officially here. This year marks the start of a new era of Razorback basketball under head coach John Calipari and it begins later tonight in Bud Walton Arena when the Hogs welcome Lipscomb.
Arkansas enters its inaugural season under Calipari ranked 16th in the Preseason AP Top 25 poll and projected to finish fourth in the SEC. While Wednesday marks the official start of Calipari’s tenure, the Razorbacks have already hit the floor in two exhibition contests. They knocked off No. 1 Kansas in Fayetteville, 85-69, and this past Friday they came up short to TCU in Fort Worth, 66-65.
