Despite not making it to the NCAA Tournament, the Indiana State men’s basketball team had a dream run in the NIT last season.
The Sycamores knocked off four legtiimate programs en route to the NIT Championship game, having dispatched the likes of SMU, Minnesota, Cincinatti and Utah. The Sycamores ultimately lost to Seton Hall in the final, but the season can only be viewed as a success.
Now, Indiana State will head to the Bahamas for their first tournament of the 2024-25 season, the Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship 2024. They’ll be joined by Iona, Tarleton State, Arkansas State, Hofstra and Rice.
From Nov. 29 to Dec. 1, the teams will play three games each against the competition as they look to steel themselves ahead of a long NCAA season.
