The accomplishment looked amazing from the outside. How could it not?
Last March, Wagner College’s men’s basketball team earned the second NCAA Tournament berth in program history at the end of a season in which it dressed only seven scholarship players for most games, went 7-9 in the Northeast Conference – getting the No. 6 seed for the conference tournament – then became the first NEC Tournament champ to win three games on the road.
