
A major city police chief in Pennsylvania is resigning over his controversial decision to referee college basketball games in addition to working his six-figure position, a similar issue he had at a previous job.
Pittsburgh Police Chief Larry Scirotto, the city’s first gay and biracial chief, submitted his resignation Friday from his $185,400 per year job that he had only held for 18 months, according to the Associated Press.
