The 2024-25 college basketball season gets underway on Monday night.

The opening-night slate in the SEC features a total of 13 contests. SEC programs are favored in Vegas in 12 of those games — with the lone exception being Missouri’s matchup against Memphis on Monday evening.

Most SEC games on Monday are against low-major or Division II opposition. However, there are a few games that include a power conference opponent: Texas A&M-UCF, Missouri-Memphis and Texas-Ohio State.

Here’s a look at the betting lines for all 13 opening-night contests featuring SEC teams (via DraftKings):

  • Texas A&M (-5) at Central Florida
  • Wright State (-20.5) at Kentucky
  • Gardner-Webb at Tennessee (-27.5)
  • North Florida at South Carolina (-17)
  • Tennessee Tech at Georgia (-25)
  • West Georgia at Mississippi State (-25)
  • Missouri (+4.5) at Memphis
  • MD Eastern at Vanderbilt (-31)
  • Florida (-10.5) at South Florida
  • LIU at Ole Miss (-30)
  • UNC Asheville at Alabama (-27)
  • Lindenwood at Oklahoma (-17)
  • Texas (-2) vs. Ohio State

Auburn, Arkansas and LSU are the only SEC programs who won’t be in action on Monday. Those 3 schools will all make their 2024-25 debuts on Wednesday night.

The 2024-25 college basketball season figures to be a good one. Saturday Down South’s Adam Spencer revealed his preseason SEC power rankings on Monday with Alabama taking the top spot. Kentucky, who will officially begin the Mark Pope era on Monday evening, clocked in at No. 6.

The first games of the SEC’s 2024-25 season will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
