Tri-Valley’s Rollison signs letter of intent to continue basketball career

DRESDEN — Tri-Valley senior Jacie Rollison inked her letter of intent on Tuesday, signing to play basketball for Indiana University-Kokom and first-year coach Lisa Pflueger. IU-Kokomo is a NAIA institution and Rollison plans to major in Exercise Science at IUK – with hopes to eventually become an athletic trainer.

Rollison, a 6-foot-0 guard, is a three-year letter winner for the Scotties. Last season, she made Second Team All-Muskingum Valley League and District 12 and was Honorable Mention East District. She averaged 9.3 points and 6.3 rebounds as a sophomore before getting a season-ending injury and contributed 6.7 points and 4.7 rebounds last year after coming back from major surgeries and no summer or preseason.

Rollison had four offers from NAIA schools, including Mount Vernon Nazarene and University of Northwestern Ohio.
