Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Costas is retiring from calling Major League Baseball.
Costas, a Syracuse University broadcasting legend, confirmed a report by Andrew Marchand of The Athletic that he would step away after over four decades calling baseball. His last game broadcast was the New York Yankees’ Game 4 clincher over the Kansas City Royals in the American League Division Series.
